A colleague at work mentioned that there is a nice creek with nice moving water at Line Creek Nature Area in Peachtree City, Georgia. It was an overcast day, so I took advantage during lunch to run down to the creek. It is just a little over a mile from my office.
Here is a link to some photos I took at the creek.
On this shoot, I simply set up 100 ISO on a tripod, fixed my aperture at f/14 and AV mode. I used a circular polarizer and a variable-stop ND circular ND filter. All of these are HDR photos. When I use HDR, my goal is to make is as realistic as possible.
Total cost for this broke photographer? $0. A lunch well-spent.
